What is NotPeople and how do its AI agents for social media work?
NotPeople is a set of autonomous AI agents for X and Threads (Reddit launching Aug 2026). Hunter watches the feed for posts worth replying to. Voicer drafts every reply in your voice. Composer writes longer posts and threads. You approve every move before it goes live — or move the autonomy slider when you trust the queue.
Which platforms does NotPeople support today?
Live today: X and Threads — Hunter, Voicer and Composer work natively on both from the Creator tier up, with one queue, one approval flow, and one voice config across them. Reddit launches Aug 2026. LinkedIn, Telegram and Discord are on the roadmap.
Can I automate Twitter and Threads without bots?
Yes — that is the entire point. NotPeople uses official APIs and OAuth, never scraping or headless browsers, and never auto-posts unless you explicitly enable it. The agents draft, surface, and queue; you decide. No bot networks, no fake accounts, no banned-this-week risk.
Do I need an SMM team to run social media with NotPeople?
No. NotPeople is built for solo founders, indie creators and one-person growth teams. The three agents collapse the work an SMM team usually splits — listening, replying, posting — into about 15 minutes of approval per day.
Will my account get banned for using automation?
Every action runs through human approval or the autonomy level you explicitly enabled. NotPeople uses official X and Threads APIs and respects rate limits. No scraping, no fake accounts, no headless browsers.
How is this different from Hypefury, Typefully, Tweet Hunter or other schedulers?
Schedulers post what you already wrote. NotPeople watches live feeds and drafts what you would write. Tweet Hunter generates content from scratch — we surface real conversations and reply where visibility actually lives. It is a different category: autonomous agents, not a content calendar.
Will the replies sound like AI?
The voice config — six dialed parameters (style, tone, humor, text, length, red lines) — runs as a hard constraint on every draft. No "great point!", no emoji by default, no hedging. If a draft does not sound like you, skip it. Voicer learns from every edit.
Can the agents post on their own?
Only if you move the autonomy slider past Approve. Default is Suggest — agents prepare, you click. Studio tier unlocks Full autonomy with post-action review.
If I edit a draft, does Voicer learn?
Yes. Every edit and every skip updates your voice model. The longer you use NotPeople, the closer the drafts.
Do I need to share my password?
No. NotPeople connects through official OAuth on X and Threads. We never see or store your password. Revoke access in two clicks.
What if I cancel — do I keep my voice config?
Your voice config and queues are exportable as JSON. After cancel, your account stays read-only for 30 days. We delete data on request or after 90 days by default.
