Media, reuse and attribution

Last updated June 15, 2026 · NotPeople Inc

We publish the charts on this blog because the numbers behind them were worth the work. Take them — we would rather see them cited than redrawn.

1. What you can reuse

Every chart, diagram and cover image produced by NotPeople Inc for the NotPeople blog is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). You may copy, republish, adapt and build on it, including commercially, as long as you attribute it.

2. How to attribute

A caption or a line under the image is enough. If the image sits next to a claim, link the article it came from rather than this page — that is where the method and the sample are written down.

3. What this does not cover

Screenshots of posts, dashboards, search results and third-party products are not ours to license. They appear here as illustration of the thing being discussed, and the rights stay with whoever made them. The same goes for creator avatars and any logo that is not ours.

The NotPeople name and mark are excluded too. Reuse of the charts under CC BY 4.0 does not imply we endorse whatever you put them in.

4. Underlying data

Where an article states a sample, a period and a method, those are the terms the chart is true under; carrying the picture without them changes what it claims. If you want the figures behind a chart in a form you can recompute, ask — we would rather send a table than have the numbers guessed from pixels.
