Do you get my X password?

No. You export cookies from your browser once and hand them to the local agent on your machine. They're stored in a Chromium profile on your disk. NotPeople's cloud stores drafts, plans, memory and the task board — it never holds a session and cannot act on your account.

Will this get me banned?

Nothing here automates at machine speed. The node takes one task at a time, in a real browser, with human-like gaps, from your own IP or a proxy you choose. Creator circles are real people acting from their own browsers, not pods. We spent a year testing what X and Reddit flag — that's why it's built this way. No tool can promise zero risk; this one is designed to keep you inside the lines.

X and Reddit are live for acting (post, reply, quote, like, follow, dwell). Threads, YouTube, Instagram, Google and Polymarket are read-only sources for research and clipping. LinkedIn is on the roadmap.

What do I need installed?

Claude Code, Codex or Grok Build (any MCP client works) and the local agent, which the setup playbook installs for you: a Chromium profile, ffmpeg and yt-dlp. macOS, Linux and Windows. The whole first run is one message: 'set me up'.

Does it post without asking?

Only what you approved. Drafts are saved with a pending status; you approve in chat, then the task lands on your node's board. You can also schedule approved drafts into a weekly plan.

Is there an API or can I run it without Claude, Codex or Grok?

The MCP works with any MCP client: Claude Code, Codex, Grok Build, Claude Desktop, Cursor, or your own agent. The local agent has a plain CLI (la x act, la reddit act, la node up) you can script directly.

How is this different from the creator network?

The MCP is a self-serve tool you run for your own accounts. The creator network is a managed program: you apply, sign an agreement and get paid for sponsored campaigns every Friday. Many creators use both — the MCP to grow, the network to monetize.
